Want to make hands-free calls or hear someone more clearly from a distance? Oticon ConnectClip sends sound from your phone or computer to compatible hearing aids. You can also give the clip to the person you're talking to, so its microphone picks up their voice.
Which hearing aids are compatible?
Suitable Oticon hearing aids require 2.4 GHz connectivity. Examples include Intent, Real, More, Opn S, Opn, Opn Play, Xceed, Xceed Play, Ruby and Siya. Custom models such as Own must have the actual 2.4 GHz wireless option.
Oticon Medical: Ponto 4 and the Ponto 5 series also support ConnectClip. House brands such as Audika and other brands need separate compatibility confirmation. A similar case or Bluetooth alone is not enough.

Oticon also lists this accessory for Reveal miniRITE R, Intent miniRITE and miniBTE R, Play SI miniRITE and miniBTE R, Verit miniRITE T / miniBTE T 85 / BTE T 105, Jet PX miniRITE R and Zeal nxtCIC R. Other Jet PX versions and custom devices must support the required 2.4 GHz connection. Wireless Own ITC/ITE models are different from Own SI IIC/CIC; do not extend compatibility to those smaller versions.
When do you need the clip?
Wear the clip yourself during calls so its microphone picks up your voice. For presentations or conversation at a distance, the speaker wears it. You can also receive music and control volume or programmes. Some phone and hearing-aid combinations already support direct streaming or hands-free calls; check before buying an extra accessory.
Initial pairing
Charge the clip. Restart your hearing aids, switch on ConnectClip and place them within 20 cm of each other. A steady yellow status light confirms the connection. To pair your phone, hold the multifunction and volume-up buttons for about six seconds until the light flashes blue, then select ConnectClip in Bluetooth settings.
Range and computer use
The specified remote-microphone range is up to 20 metres; obstacles can reduce it. Computer use requires a suitable Bluetooth connection. A BTD 800 dongle is a possible solution when the existing connection is unsuitable; it is not required for every setup.
For television audio, the Oticon TV Adapter 3.0 sends sound directly to compatible hearing aids. ConnectClip is not needed as an intermediate device.
