    Extra security for your hearing aids

    Want a little extra reassurance if a hearing aid comes loose? Oticon SafeLine attaches your hearing aids to your clothes with cords. This helps keep them from falling to the ground or getting lost. Children and adults can use the clip, for example outdoors or when changing clothes. It cannot prevent every loss.

    Which version do you need?

    • miniRITE/miniBTE, part 183093: the version with smaller attachment rings.
    • BTE/RITE, part 183088: the version with larger attachment rings.

    The ring fits around the housing behind your ear. Choose by its shape and size, not just the hearing aid name. SafeLine is intended for behind-the-ear devices, not hearing aids sitting entirely inside the ear, such as Oticon Own or Zeal. Oticon also lists behind-the-ear hearing aids from other manufacturers, provided the ring fits correctly. It must not cover microphones, controls or connectors.

    Contents and use

    The existing sales set contains a clothing clip and four interchangeable cords: two measuring 20 cm and two measuring 28 cm. Gently fit the rings around the hearing aids and secure the clip to a firm part of your clothing, such as a collar. Check that the rings, cords and clip are secure and undamaged before use.

    The safety connection can release under tension. Do not knot or modify it. Remove the hearing aids and clip before taking off the garment.
