Need to replace the receiver on your older Widex or Coselgi hearing aid? This Widex Easywear RIC receiver has a 2-pin connection. It is intended for hearing aids that use this Easywear connection. In a RIC hearing aid, the receiver sits in your ear and connects to the hearing aid behind your ear through a thin wire.
Check first: this is the 2-pin version
The connection determines whether the receiver fits. This is the Easywear 2-pin receiver for older Widex and Coselgi hearing aids with the matching connection. Older hearing aids do not all use the same receiver. This version is not interchangeable with the 3-pin Easywear V2.
Compare the connection with your current receiver. If you are unsure, send our customer service team the exact hearing aid model and a clear photo of the connection. We can help you check before you order.
Choose the correct length, side and power
Choose the same version as your current receiver unless your hearing care professional has specified a different one. Check these three details:
- Length: 0, 1, 2, 3 or 4, to suit your hearing aid and ear.
- Side: left or right, from the hearing aid wearer's perspective.
- Power: S, M or P (Power), matching your hearing aid settings.
A more powerful receiver is not automatically a suitable replacement. Check the marking on your current receiver or ask your hearing care professional to confirm the correct combination.
Replacement and care
Replace the receiver according to the instructions for your hearing aid. Do not pull on the thin wire or force the connection. Keep the receiver clean and check the ear tip and wax filter regularly. A blocked filter can reduce or stop the sound.
You are ordering the selected receiver variant. The hearing aid itself is not included.
