Wireless technology plus Bernafon hearing aids is SoundGate 3 - the advanced link between our hearing solutions and wireless Bluetooth equipment. With the SoundGate 3, calling on your cell phone is easier than ever because the cell signals are transmitted directly to your hearing aid. This ensures a very clear and natural sound. Even if your mobile phone does not have Bluetooth, you can benefit from superior sound quality via the minijack connection on the SoundGate 3.
The SoundGate 3 mutes the hearing aid microphone so that all background noise disappears. This allows you to fully enjoy the sound from the audio source you have selected (e.g. MP3 player, mobile phone, etc.).
The SoundGate 3 unobtrusively controls all program and volume changes, so you don't need an additional remote control.
With the Bernafon SoundGate App, Bernafon goes beyond the usual operation of the hearing aid. Switch between programs, turn the volume up or down and connect multiple devices has never been easier and certainly not so discreet.
The SoundGate App for iPhone runs on iPhone 6 Plus, iPhone 6, iPhone 5s, iPhone 5c, iPhone 5, iPhone 4s, and iPhone 4, and requires Bernafon wireless hearing aids and SoundGate 3 with firmware 3.0 or later.
