Compatible with the Nucleus® 8 sound processor.
The Aqua+ transmitting coil in this kit is only compatible with the CI24R and CI24M implants from the Nucleus Profile™ series, CI500 series, CI500 series, CI24RE (Freedom) series.
This kit comes standard with an (i) magnet. You can check this by looking at your current magnet. It should also have an (i) on it.
If you have an implant from the Nucleus Profile Plus series, the magnet in your Slimline™ temples will be marked with the symbol (I). If you are not sure which implant model you have, contact your hearing care professional.
An accessory for the Nucleus® 8 sound processor designed specifically for underwater use*. A day at the beach or pool no longer means a loss of sound. By sliding your current sound processor into a flexible silicone sleeve and using a special transmitter coil, you are ready to go head-to-head.
An Aqua+ cover can be used up to 50 times and can be submerged at a maximum depth of three metres for two hours. The cover is durable, reusable and compact. It is suitable for recreational swimming or during a wash, but it is recommended to use a cap, headband, or, the safest choice, the included Aqua+ safety lanyards and Mic Lock brackets for more intensive activities such as surfing.
Use the Aqua+ only with rechargeable batteries; zinc-air batteries need oxygen to work and will not work when inside the Aqua+ case.
