The Dry-Glasses UV® Smart Dry Box is a smart solution for safely drying and hygienically cleaning glasses and hearing aids. This compact drying box is suitable for hearing glasses, AI glasses, regular glasses and hearing aids, with or without a charging station, making it ideal for everyday use at home or in professional hearing and optical practices.
Built-in temperature and humidity sensors continuously monitor the internal conditions and automatically adjust the drying time. Depending on the situation, the system independently selects a drying cycle of 90, 120 or 180 minutes. This ensures sensitive electronic components are dried effectively without placing unnecessary strain on the batteries.
Two powerful fans provide consistent air circulation with an airflow of 9.8 m³ per hour, allowing glasses, hearing aids and accessories to dry quickly and gently. The open drying chamber also makes it possible to charge devices during the drying process.
For optimal hygiene, the Dry-Glasses UV® is equipped with five UV-C LEDs (275 nm). These eliminate up to 99.99% of bacteria, viruses and fungi within just five minutes. Disinfection cycles run automatically at the start and end of the drying program, even if devices are removed in between. The performance is certified and complies with Medical Device Class I requirements under MDR EU 2017/745.
The device is powered via USB and comes with four international plug adapters and a 30 cm USB-C cable. With both USB-C input and output, devices can be dried and charged simultaneously. In addition to glasses and hearing aids, the Dry-Glasses UV® is also suitable for AR and smart glasses, in-ear headsets, smartphones, smartwatches and remote controls.
