Sennheiser optical audio cable, pink – 1.5 metres

    Plus- en minpunten

    Volgens onze specialist
    • Original replacement cable; recognisable pink marking; no power supply needed
    • Not an analogue or HDMI cable; does not convert audio formats; avoid sharp bends

    Product description

Have you lost or damaged the optical cable for your TV listening system? This Sennheiser cable connects your television’s optical audio output to the digital input on a suitable transmitter. Its pink marking helps you identify the connection. The cable does not require power.

    Which systems does it fit?

This is optical cable part 573684, also offered as Sennheiser/Sonova article 120-0014. It fits the intended optical connection on RS 5200, RS 5000, Set 860, Set 880 and Flex 5000 systems. Check both connections: a round analogue 3.5 mm socket or an HDMI port requires a different connection. This cable does not convert an analogue signal to digital.

    Connecting it

Remove any protective caps and gently insert the plugs into the optical sockets. Do not force them or bend the cable sharply. For the listed Sennheiser listening systems, set your television’s digital audio output to PCM stereo. A suitable cable does not make a Dolby or DTS signal compatible with the transmitter.

    What is in the pack?

You receive 1 optical audio cable measuring 1.5 metres, with pink marking. A TV listening system, transmitter and connection adapters are not included. A complete Set 880 already includes an optical cable, so order this separate cable only as a replacement or spare.
