An M&RIE receiver contains a microphone as well as a speaker. These filters protect that microphone. A pack of eight gives you replacements to hand when a filter becomes dirty.
Part 21536500 is for the SureFit 3B M&RIE receiver, used with ReSound ONE among other applications. The M&RIE name alone is not enough to identify the right filter because different receiver versions exist. Compare the part number with your current pack.
This is not a universal wax guard for every ReSound receiver. The GN WaxGuard at the sound outlet is a different part. Follow the filter replacement instructions for your receiver. If you are unsure which type you have, we can help from a photo of the filter or packaging.
One pack of eight M&RIE microphone filters, part 21536500. A receiver and hearing aid are not included.
