The Cochlear™ Aqua+ is a reusable, sealable cover that can be slid over the Nucleus 8 sound processor and is used in conjunction with the Nucleus 8 Aqua+ coil. With Aqua+, your Nucleus 8 sound processor becomes a fully waterproof solution (IP68) designed for swimming and bathing; you can wear your sound processor worry-free and enjoy your favorite water activities. The Cochlear Aqua+ is equipped with a built-in earhook and is worn behind the ear with your sound processor sealed inside.

Suitable for use at depths of up to 3 meters for a maximum of 2 hours.
Can be reused up to 50 times (may vary depending on individual use).
Designed for use in salt, drinking, and chlorinated water.

Note: To use Aqua+, your Nucleus 8 sound processor must use rechargeable batteries and should not be in Hybrid™ mode. If there are highly physical activities planned, consider using the Mic lock and/or Cochlear Safety Cord. Consult with your audiologist for more information.
