We take headphone design to a new level by combining modern engineering with handcrafted design and using natural materials and focusing on delivering the best premium sound.
Choosing our types of wood is always difficult. The rich colors of walnut require the use of air drying, a long and expensive procedure. The process of forming just one pair of ear cups takes up to 8 hours. The entire process of sanding, painting and finishing takes 45 days. The wooden components are carefully inspected and no errors should reach the final assembly.
It's worth noting that all the wood we use in our headphones is strictly sourced from sources with a certificate of origin. That is, mature trees that have reached the end of their life cycle. In this way we help the environment and give the old trees the chance to shine once again in the form of Meze headphones.
We strived for perfection in every part we designed. CNC carved wooden earcups, die-cast zinc alloy hardware with electroplated coating, stamped manganese steel headband, memory foam and soft PU leather are the materials your hands and eyes will enjoy. No plastic is used for this.
