Want to turn the sound up or down? With the Bernafon RC-A, you can do that at the touch of a button. You can also change listening programmes or mute the sound for a moment. You don't need your phone.
Wear two hearing aids? You'll control both together.
The RC-A works with wireless versions of Bernafon Zerena, Viron, Leox, Alpha, Alpha XT, Encanta and Revita.
If your hearing aids sit entirely inside your ears, check the exact version: not all of them have the wireless connection needed here. Older hearing aids that use SoundGate do not work with this remote.

You pair the remote with your hearing aids once. The manual takes you through each step. Restart your hearing aids and keep them within 20 cm of the remote while pairing. After that, you can use it each day from up to about 1.8 metres away. You don't need to point it at your hearing aids.
The programme button lets you choose between the listening programmes your hearing care professional has set up. Muting stops the sound; your hearing aids stay switched on.
You'll need two AAAA alkaline batteries. Check that size when ordering: they're smaller than the familiar AAA batteries. Fit them according to the plus and minus signs in the battery compartment.
The RC-A is a remote control. It doesn't send music or phone calls to your hearing aids and has no microphone. For that, take a look at the SoundClip-A.
Already have a Bernafon TV-A? You can use the RC-A to select the TV programme and adjust the volume. You'll still need the TV-A itself.
You receive the remote without hearing aids. Keep it dry and clean it with a soft, dry cloth.
