Want to hear the TV louder without changing the volume for everyone else? The Bernafon TV-A sends sound straight to compatible hearing aids. You choose your own listening volume. Once paired, you don't need a separate receiver or SoundClip-A.
Suitable for Bernafon hearing aids with the manufacturer's own 2.4 GHz radio connection. It works with wireless versions of Zerena, Viron, Leox, Alpha, Alpha XT, Encanta and Revita. Custom hearing aids must actually have the wireless function; small non-wireless IIC/CIC versions are not automatically included. Older SoundGate hearing aids use a different system. A hearing aid from another brand will not necessarily work with this accessory, even if it has Bluetooth.
Use an audio output, not an input. TV-A has no HDMI connection and does not receive a TV's Bluetooth audio directly. If your TV only has HDMI ARC/eARC, you need a suitable separate audio converter; check that combination first. Using a headphone output may switch off the TV speakers, depending on the television.
Connect the power supply and audio cable. Restart your hearing aids and place them near the adapter in pairing mode as directed in the manual. Then select the TV program using your hearing aids, the Bernafon app or the RC-A remote control. RC-A is optional, not a required extra.
Range is up to 15 metres with a clear line of sight. Multiple users with compatible, individually paired Bernafon hearing aids can listen together. A radio or music player can also work if it has a supported audio output.
You are ordering TV-A without hearing aids. The optical connection cable is part of the existing sales set. A different TV connection may require another cable or converter.
