Dirt and earwax inside a thin tube can obstruct sound from your hearing aid. These cleaning threads reach the inside of a suitable hollow sound tube. The firm end helps you thread the cleaner through.
Thin Tube Cleaners are intended for thin sound tubes on behind-the-ear hearing aids. Do not use them inside a receiver with a built-in speaker or in your ear canal. A thin cable leading to an in-ear speaker is not a hollow sound tube.
First detach the tube from the hearing aid as described in its instructions. Carefully feed the cleaner through the detached tube and pull it all the way through. Stop if you feel resistance; do not push debris towards the hearing aid. Reattach the tube only when it is clean and undamaged.
One pack of 30 Thin Tube Cleaners, part 123814. Sound tubes and hearing aids are not included.
