Want to follow the TV more easily without turning it up for the whole room? The Sennheiser RS 195 gives you your own volume and sound settings to suit your hearing. The closed headphones fit around your ears; the transmitter connects to your television or stereo.
Choose a comfortable sound
Seven hearing profiles help you find a suitable setting. The balance control adjusts sound between left and right. There is a speech mode for dialogue and a music mode offering greater dynamic range. Volume and listening mode controls are on the headphones.
Compatible connections
- TV or audio device with an optical digital output: set it to PCM/stereo.
- TV or audio device with an analogue 3.5mm audio output.
The RS 195 uses its own transmitter and is not a Bluetooth headset. A television with only HDMI ARC requires a separate compatible audio solution. Whether the TV speakers continue playing depends on your television and the connection used.
Battery and range
The included rechargeable AAA batteries provide up to 18 hours of listening. Charge the headphones on the transmitter; a full charge from empty takes up to approximately 8.5 hours. Range is up to 100 metres with a clear line of sight. Walls can reduce it indoors.

You receive HDR 195 headphones, a TR 195 transmitter, an NT9-3AW power supply with EU, UK, US and AU adapters, two rechargeable AAA NiMH batteries, a 1.5-metre optical cable, a 2-metre 3.5mm audio cable and documentation.
Is this a hearing aid?
This is a TV listening system for home use. Hearing profiles help you adjust playback, but do not replace a hearing aid fitted to your personal needs. Always start at a low volume.
