Bring your speaking partner's voice closer
Give the Phonak PartnerMic to the person you're talking to. It picks up their voice and sends it directly to compatible hearing aids. It's useful for one-to-one conversations when there is some distance or background noise.
Which hearing aids will work?
PartnerMic uses Phonak AirStream with suitable wireless Phonak Marvel, Paradise, Lumity and Infinio hearing aids. You don't need a separate receiver. Non-wireless versions or hearing aids from other brands aren't automatically compatible.
Looking for a microphone for different people speaking around a table? Take a look at Roger On too. PartnerMic is designed for one speaker and isn't a Bluetooth microphone for your phone.
Where to wear it
Clip it to the speaker's clothing about 20 cm below their mouth. Keep clothing clear of the microphone to avoid rubbing sounds. The speaker can also wear it around their neck using the lanyard. Positioning does matter.
Pairing and use
Switch on your hearing aids and PartnerMic and keep them within 10 cm of each other for the first pairing. A green light and a confirmation tone let you know it has worked. Use the pairing button to pair again. A new pairing replaces the previous one.
Range is up to 25 metres. Walls, furniture and the body can reduce it. A full battery gives around six hours of use, and charging takes about two hours. PartnerMic is switched off while charging.
You are ordering PartnerMic without hearing aids. Its part number is 076-4001-P512.
