The MED-EL AudioLink is a wireless connectivity device for MED-EL SONNET, SONNET 2 and RONDO 3 audio processors. It can send sound from devices such as your phone, tablet or television to your audio processor. It can also be used for hands-free phone calls.
AudioLink can also function as a remote microphone. Place it on a table during a conversation or position it closer to the person you want to hear. Their voice is then transmitted wirelessly to your audio processor, making it useful for conversations, meetings, classes and other situations where the speaker is further away.
Please note: this is the standard MED-EL AudioLink and not the AudioLink XT.
AudioLink XT is the newer model with additional connectivity features. The main differences are:
- AudioLink has a range of up to approximately 3 metres; AudioLink XT approximately 10 to 15 metres
- AudioLink is compatible with SONNET, SONNET 2 and RONDO 3
- AudioLink is not compatible with SONNET 3
- AudioLink XT supports SONNET 3 directly
- AudioLink XT has a built-in telecoil
- AudioLink XT can connect to FM systems using a separate FM adapter
- AudioLink XT supports bimodal connectivity with compatible ASHA hearing aids
- The standard AudioLink does not include these additional XT features

If you use a SONNET, SONNET 2 or RONDO 3 and want to hear your television, phone calls or someone speaking at a distance more clearly, AudioLink sends the sound wirelessly to your audio processor. If you use SONNET 3, you need the newer AudioLink XT instead.
