Struggling to follow conversations when there is a lot going on around you? Phonak Roger On Sphere picks up speech and reduces background noise before sending sound to your hearing aids. It helps at meals, meetings and when the speaker is further away.
Stay with the conversation over dinner
Moving chairs, clattering dishes and conversations at nearby tables: a meal out brings plenty of competing sounds. Roger On Sphere helps separate speech from this background noise. Used for a conversation around the table, it picks up speech closer to its source and sends it to your hearing aids through Roger.
Automatic listening modes adapt to the situation, helping you keep your attention on the people you are with. The difference you experience also depends on the room, the surrounding noise and your own hearing solution.
From meetings to presentations
In a meeting, speakers change throughout the conversation. During a presentation, the person speaking may be further away. Roger On Sphere supports both table conversations and use by a presenter, so the same microphone can serve different listening situations.
For larger groups, multiple Roger On Sphere microphones can work together in a MultiTalker Network, bringing several speaking positions into the system. Additional microphones are not included in the box.
For conversations at your computer too
Do you regularly work online or catch up with family by video? Sphere is also designed for online calls and streaming. Its processing helps pick up your own voice more clearly. That makes your contribution to the conversation part of the picture too. The connection you need depends on your equipment.
What does the AI do?
RogerSense OS processes incoming sound in real time, using AI to distinguish speech from background noise. The microphone technology focuses on the source with the most favourable balance of speech and noise. The aim is to pass on useful speech rather than simply making every sound louder.
The microphone does not replace your hearing aids. It complements a suitable hearing solution when distance and noise make listening more difficult.
What is new with Sphere?
RogerSense OS uses AI to separate speech from background noise. The microphone automatically adapts to the listening situation. During online calls, processing also helps pick up your own voice more clearly.
Will it work with my hearing aids?
You need suitable devices with RogerDirect or a compatible Roger receiver. Bluetooth alone is not enough. The receiver you need depends on your exact hearing device. Stereo sound requires a pair of devices with RogerDirect. Have the correct connection checked before buying.
For everyday use
Sphere provides up to eight hours of continuous noise suppression. Multiple Roger On Sphere microphones can work together in a MultiTalker Network, for example in a larger group.
